A recent check by Grass Valley police found businesses within city limits licensed to sell tobacco are properly displaying signs warning against the sale of related products to minors.It was the first time police had checked on compliance of the ordinance, passed by City Council in November 2009. The ordinance also requires businesses to display their licenses.
