The state avoids default tobacco bond

Like other children swing states by default, West Virginia, officials say that the State must be able to make their payments on the bonds of tobacco settlement in the foreseeable future. In 1998, West Virginia was one of 46 states signed a massive agreement with major tobacco companies to cover the country’s public spending on health care for tobacco-related diseases.

Abdillah Ahsan, a researcher at the Demographic Institute of the University Of Indonesia (UI) “from the Department of Economics, said Friday that the increase in cigarette consumption can damage the health-related quality of life of the Indonesian people, possibly affecting the country’s success in achieving its demographic dividend.

Vote against lifting the ban on smoking in Springfield

June 5, voters in Springfield in favor of a clean and healthy city, once again, to go to the polls. Criteria for City Charter has significantly less than 2 percent of the population, a lot of money to the city to get a second vote on the smoking ban we passed just last year. It is very important that Springfieldians, who favor a ban on smoking in public places to vote again.
